In this project, our students will be able to work with students from different parts of Europe. Thanks to digital apps, students will exceed the distance between themselves. They will be able to communicate in order to work on shared tasks.

My Voki
The main objectives of the task were:
- to enhance language skills, such as writing,
listening, reading and speaking,
- to practise lexical and grammatical
structures in a fun way,
- to engage students in interactive lessons,
- to introduce technology in the process of
learning.
During the first stage of the project, Edmodo
groups from both schools, had to prepare the description of an imaginary character,
and write five questions which were
related to it.
Ready descriptions were used to create Voki. The best Vokis, Spanish Pocoyo and Winney, and Polish Brunhilda and
Toralei, were published on the blog and used for the listening task during the
hangout session.
Children from both schools were supposed to
listen to their partners’ Vokis, and then answer the questions, which were asked
by their peers from partner country.
After the break you can watch the movie of the session.

28th October 'Who is Who?'
What was the teachers’ role this time? Having fun while
learning and having fun while teaching is the clue.
Children are willing to learn, but sometimes they are too
shy to catch the wind. What’s the teachers’ role, then? Sometimes you have to
become a child for a moment, to understand what is the answer on this question J
So who is who? Whether teachers are the students, and
students are the teachers?
In this activity our students were playing the game Who is Who. We had a funny time.

Our schools
Our students worked in five mixed groups on Edmodo. They were assigned to groups by the teacher. In each group there were children from both countries. Then, they started to chat with each others in order to get the answer to the questions that teachers wrote in their groups.
Spanish students had to write down the Polish answers, and Polish students, the Spanish ones.
If the answer was correct, (the spelling and grammar) they wrote the answer in a shared document.
You can read the document with the results here.

Prepositions song
Today, our students were very excited about the vision of meeting their peers from abroad, therefore, they were preparing for this event with great motivation. They were doing this not only during the English lessons, but also training at home, by using Edmodo, our virtual learning enviroment.
The videoconference was a summary of the first Unit of a joint English syllabus. Students had the opportunity to test their language skills on live, and thus, they had to get in touch with foreign colleagues, respond to the teachers’ questions and sing a song about prepositions of place together.
Students from Poland, taught their colleagues from Spain that the refrain of the song can be shown by hands, which makes prepositions of place easy to remember.

Welcome to DTO
On Tuesday, 16th September 2014, our students started the project.
The first activity they did was to meet themselves by Edmodo, the educative social network, that we use in the project.
This way, students from both countries joined the DTO Edmodo Class and introduced themselves. At the same time, they started to chat between them and comment their posts.
